Ahhhmazing Essential Oils ~ Orange and Grapefruit

We all love free stuff...especially when it's something good and good for you! Drop of Life, LLC is launching their facebook page and building it with giveaways of Young Living's essential oils. This week, they are giving away a 15ml bottle of both Orange and Grapefruit.

If you haven't ever used Young Living's oils...you are missing out.

Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) has a fresh, citrus aroma that is energizing and uplifting. Rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene, it is nourishing to the skin. Like many coldpressed citrus oils, it is a popular oil to use in conjunction with weight management programs. I like to add a few drops to my pure water for flavoring (use in glass/stainless steel containers only, no plastic, styrofoam or porous materials). There are many testimonials out there of people using the grapefruit oil to help cut sugar cravings and aid in weight loss. I have one friend who lost over 25 pounds and raves about it changing her craving for sugar just adding it to her drinking water. She was able to kick her soda habit and quit nibbling on sweets without much effort on her part.

Another one of our favorites is Orange Oil! Orange (Citrus sinensis) essential oil has a rich, fruity scent that lifts the spirit while providing a calming influence on the body. Orange brings peace and happiness to the mind. It is rich in the powerful antioxidant d-limonene and aids in maintaining normal cellular regeneration. Orange may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water. My two favorite ways to use Orange are 4-8 drops on my stomach after I get out of the shower or diffusing in the diffuser at the house. You can also add 4 drops of orange oil to 8oz of water and spray on plants or other areas to help reduce where mold/mildew may grow. It has a clean and uplifting fragrance and can help reduce anxiety and stress. We've read when diffused or used in businesses, people are more relaxed and there is a percentage of increase in sales.

A 1995 Mie University Study found citrus fragrances boosted immunity, induced relaxation and reduced depression. This is particularly good for those in areas that lack in sunshine and don't get adequate sunlight on a regular basis or work in rooms without a lot of natural light.

SO...what are you waiting for? Like Drop of Life, LLC's facebook page, share the giveaway for a chance to win the two free oils this week.
